Status set at Yellow - School is almost over, nice weather is here and the juvenille activity is already increasing. There have been 2 confirmed robberies committed by Charlotte Students at the S&D Mini Mart (May). Several other students were arrested for stealing an MP3 player from another student, knocking that student down and kicking and beating that person to get it. A few days later, there was another problem that was related to the MP3 player which was reported to the police. Most recently a Charlotte Student was arrested for stealing a bottle of juice, not usually a big deal however when the victim refused to hand it over the student "got violent" (that is how it was reported at the PCIC meeting). All of the incidents listed above have happened in the last two months. Be advised, it is not known if the Charlotte Students mentioned above are also Charlotte Residents since they are juvenilles all we are told is that they are students.
Please keep an eye out for your friends and neighbors.
